Assistant Venue Manager | Regional SA | $82K-$87K + Benefits
 
Looking for a hands-on hospitality leader who wants genuine scope and a venue that keeps you on your toes.
 
This is a full-service pub in regional South Australia: bistro, bar, gaming, functions, bottle shop, and accommodation all under one roof. Steady trade from a loyal local community plus consistent foot traffic from travellers makes for a varied, fast-paced operation year-round.
 
You'll work closely with the Venue Manager across all departments. This isn't a role where you're siloed into one area. You'll be across rostering, training, events, stock, and floor operations, and you'll be the kind of leader who gets stuck in alongside the team rather than directing from the sidelines.
 
What the role looks like:

• Day-to-day leadership across bar, restaurant, gaming, and functions
• Recruitment, induction, and ongoing training of F&B staff
• Driving events and functions throughout the year
• Stock control and admin
• Rotating roster across 7 days 

Who we're looking for:

• Proven management experience in a multi-department venue
• Calm under pressure, good with people, and strong on detail
• RSA, Gaming licence, and RP badge (or willingness to obtain)
• Someone who sees regional as an opportunity, not a compromise
