The Company
Our client is a global FMCG with a leading presence in the Australian market due to an excellent reputation built on quality products, and first-class customer service. Due to a number of key Projects kicking off, they are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to support the Supply Chain team in a temp to perm role.
 
The Role
Working closely with the Supply Chain & Distribution teams you will be part of a high energy group & responsible for:

• Logistic documentation (domestic)
• Manage inventory levels within our existing 3PL network.
• Manage manual data from MRP/inventory system (orders, timeslots, PODs, inventory accuracy, damages, cycle counts, CHEP transfers, invoicing and service levels) with the 3PL network.
• Pallet control
• Investigate service delivery issues
• Customer Service & inquiries relating to goods ordered
• Dealing with major accounts
• Maintain and update databases
• Use multiple systems & platforms
• Strong Excel

Preferred Experience
You will have 2-3 years’ experience in logistics/inventory/supply chain – ideally a commercial environment like FMCG, Manufacturing, Logistics. This role requires a strong communicator who thrives in a fast paced and goal orientated environment. You will ideally have:

• Good Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to communicate concisely and effectively
• Team player
• Ability to work autonomously
• Ability to take ownership and accountability for deliverables
