About the Company:
Our client, a leading Global FMCG brand in the consumer goods & retail space, is experiencing significant growth in Australia. With a robust product range and effective sales & marketing strategy, they are looking for a motivated and technically strong Finance Business Partner to support their expanding operations.
 
The Role:
Reporting to the Head of Finance and collaborating with both global and local finance teams, you will play a crucial role in delivering consolidated group reporting, monthly management reports, and providing insightful analysis. Your responsibilities will include:

• Budget & Forecasting: Lead preparation and management of budgets and forecasts.
• Month-End Closing: Support Financial Reporting Manager with month-end processes and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.
• Business Partnering: Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and sales to provide financial insights.
• Management & KPI Reporting: Prepare management reports, variance analysis, and commentary.
• Cost & Inventory Control: Manage cost monitoring processes and pricing/inventory analysis.
• Internal Controls & Improvements: Align internal controls with global standards and assist with process/system improvements.
• Team Mentorship: Mentor junior finance team members to develop their skills.

Preferred Experience:
The ideal candidate will be CA/CPA qualified with 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within a large, global organisation. The fast-paced and dynamic culture requires someone who is self-motivated, can work autonomously, and thrives in a busy environment. Key attributes include:

• Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Advanced commercial acumen and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced MS Excel.
• Knowledge of general accounting principles; US GAAP experience is a plus.
• Ability to mentor and support team members.
