Renowned for their quality, customer service, and long-standing reputation, they are seeking a personable and motivated Internal Sales & Customer Service Representative to join their friendly Bayswater branch.
 
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive team, assisting showroom customers, managing counter sales, and providing exceptional service across phone and email enquiries in a fast-paced branch environment.
 
About the Role
Reporting to the Branch Manager, you'll play an integral role in supporting the daily operations of the branch by delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring the smooth processing of customer orders and enquiries.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Responding to inbound customer enquiries via phone, email, and in person
• Processing customer orders, quotations, invoices, and stock requests
• Assisting customers with showroom and trade counter sales
• Following up backorders, stock availability, and customer enquiries
• Preparing credits, returns, and associated documentation
• Working closely with the external Sales and Account Management team to deliver outstanding customer outcomes
• Maintaining a professional, organised, and welcoming branch environment
• Providing general administrative support including filing, banking, and mail
• Assisting with stocktakes and other branch operational duties as required

About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• 2-3 years' experience in an internal sales, customer service, or trade counter position
• Experience within the joinery, cabinetry, carpentry hardware supply industry will be highly regarded
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A positive, proactive attitude and genuine commitment to customer service
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
• Confidence working in a busy branch or trade environment
• Experience using ERP or inventory management systems
• A strong commitment to workplace safety and WHS practices
