The Company
Our client is a recognised Australian FMCG in the consumer goods & retail/wholesale space. They have a very strong brand and reputation due to an outstanding product range, quality goods at an affordable price. Due to a busy time of year, they are looking for a Sales & Customer Service Officer to join the team on a 12 month contract (with a view to going permanent). The company is a known employer of choice, offering flexibility & career progression to its staff. Convenient Homebush location with parking or close to public transport.
 
 
The Role
You will be working closely with the Sales & Marketing teams in a varied & busy role. Main responsibilities include:

• Responding to inbound inquiries and providing excellent customer service
• Outbound follow up calls to prospective clients
• Contact potential clients through social media
• Liaising with other departments to ensure the smooth flow of information and the timely completion of tasks
• Maintaining accurate and up to date records in our customer relationship management (CRM) system - HubSpot
• Providing support for special projects and initiatives as required

 
Preferred Experience
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, ideally FMCG, distribution, and sales. You will have:

• HubSpot experience a plus
• Experience in a sales or customer service role
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
• A team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively
