A Leading Global name in Information Technology Infrastructure require a IAM Security Lead to join their expanding team within Poland.
  
As a Security Consultant you will lead the IAM with a primary focus on Access Management using Okta and API Security using Akamai. You will lead the design, implementation and governance of AM and API security solutions for enterprise clients.
  
Responsibilities
  
You will be responsible for leading the architecture and deployment of Access Management and API security solutions using Okta and Akamai. Implementing and managing Okta Identity Cloud features including SSO, MFA, Lifecycle Management, and Adaptive Authentication.
  
Additionally responsible for Designing and enforcing API security standards using OAuth 2.0, JWT, mutual TLS, and rate limiting. Deploy and optimize Akamai solutions such as API Gateway, Web Application Firewall (WAF), and Bot Mitigation. Integrate IAM and API security controls across cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  
Implementation with regulatory and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, SOX, PCI-DSS). Lead cross-functional security initiatives, ensuring secure and scalable outcomes. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels—from technical teams to C-level executives.
  
  
Expertise
  

• 5+ years of experience in IAM and API security, with hands-on expertise in Okta and Akamai
• Strong practical experience with Okta Identity Cloud (SSO, MFA, LCM, Adaptive Authentication)
• Deep knowledge of API security principles and protocols (OAuth 2.0, JWT, mutual TLS, rate limiting)
• Proficiency with Akamai security tools including API Gateway, WAF, and Bot Mitigation
• Solid understanding of compliance and regulatory standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, SOX, PCI-DSS
• Proven experience integrating IAM and security controls in multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and project delivery capabilities
• Excellent communication skills and a track record of stakeholder engagement
• Ability to align technical solutions with broader business and security objectives

  
Preferred Skills
  

• Familiarity with Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) platforms
• Experience with scripting/automation using Python, PowerShell, or Terraform
• Relevant certifications such as Okta Certified Consultant, Akamai Security Architect, CISSP, or CISM are a strong plus

  
This is a fully remote role however successful applicants must be physically located in Poland.
