Southern Cross Care Queensland has an exciting opportunity for a Learning and Development Coordinator to join us and provide general administration support to our Learning and Organisational Development Team.
Working in this full-time role, the Learning and Development will assist with devising and planning learning and organisational development activities across Southern Cross Care QLD business stream. Reporting to the Learning and Organisational Development Manager, this position will be pivotal for the streamlined delivery of learning and organisational development initiatives that align with SCCQ’s organisational strategy.

What are the key responsibilities? - Respond to requests from managers, employees and the L&OD team for information, service or assistance.
- Monitor the effective collection of training closely for accurate record-keeping in the LMS.
- Collate and organise received data, collaborate with Learning and Organisational Development Manager and Learning and Development Partners to create meaningful training needs analysis.
- Support the corporate induction program and all other L&OD initiatives as required.
- Assist with the preparation of the Organisational Training Calendar and supply in an agreed format to stakeholders.
- Task management, including L&OD inbox enquiries, organising training workshops, reporting and any other administrative activities that enhance the ability of all employees to provide excellence in customer-centred service and build positive culture in alignment to the SCCQ Vision, Mission and Values.
- Daily administration and maintenance of the organisation’s LMS to ensure training is deployed as per the mandatory training frameworks and Training Calendar, ensuring training records are up to date and accurate, and provide accurate reporting to key stakeholders for management decision making.
- Create e-learning content using multiple software systems, including Vyond, Storyline, and Rise 360.
What will you bring to the role? - Certificate III in Office Administration (desirable)
- Demonstrated experience in administrative roles for HR/Learning & Development programs and initiatives.
- Excellent office administration skills
- Knowledge of learning management systems and Microsoft Office suite
- Knowledge of e-learning creation tools (desirable)
- Demonstrated experience in developing positive relationships and communication with senior management, staff and multiple stakeholders
- Team Player with a “can-do” attitude.
- Knowledge of Organisational Development/HR principles and practices as well as relevant workplace legislation
