We currently have an opportunity for a permanent full-time Marketing Coordinator to join our Southern Cross Care QLD family to work, as part of our Communications and Marketing Team, from our Support Office in Upper Mt Gravatt.

About the roleWorking as a Marketing Coordinator you will play a crucial role in supporting our communications and marketing team by executing administrative tasks, coordinating marketing activities, and assisting in the implementation of communication and marketing tactics.

What are the key responsibilities? - Provide administrative assistance to the communications and marketing team, including managing the marketing inbox, logging jobs, and assisting with tracking due dates and tasks
- Assist in the coordination and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, and social media
- Support the management of social media accounts by assisting in content creation, scheduling posts, and monitoring engagement
- Assist in planning and coordinating marketing events, such as conferences, trade shows, and promotional activities
- Support the Senior Digital Marketing Specialist with online sales listings across our website and both paid and unpaid online listings
What will you bring to the role? - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Advertising or similar, or relevant experience deemed the equivalent
- Experience: 1- year experience or new graduates
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and social media platforms
- Desired experience with Mailchimp, WordPress, SharePoint

Southern Cross Care Queensland (SCCQ) is a Catholic not-for-profit organisation established by the Knights of the Southern Cross, more than 40 years ago. They saw a need to provide compassionate care and inclusive service to some of the most vulnerable, the ageing population, in the community.
