About the role

Reporting to a Senior Recruitment Business Partner, working in this busy and exciting role, you will be providing comprehensive recruitment support to our sites to ensure that staff needs are being met through a seamless experience for both the hiring managers as well as the candidates. 

Key accountabilities of the role would include:

• Liaising with managers to identify and understand their recruitment needs.,
• Implementing appropriate strategies to attract and engage best talent available.
• Overseeing end to end recruitment processes, in collaboration with the hiring managers, including job postings, candidate screening,  interviewing and selection.
• Contract preparation and processing while providing a supportive and welcoming onboarding experience for the new hires. 
• Undertaking of any administrative processes as required

• Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at all levels to build trust and respect.
• Great problem-solving skills.
• High level of competency with Microsoft Office suite of products
• Excellent time management skills and ability to work autonomously as well as part of a great team
• Proactive approach to work including seeking of opportunities for continuous improvement
• Excellent written skills
• Sound ability to manage and prioritise workload in a constantly changing high volume environment

Southern Cross Care Queensland (SCCQ) is a Catholic not-for-profit organisation established by the Knights of the Southern Cross, more than 40 years ago. They saw a need to provide compassionate care and inclusive service to some of the most vulnerable, the ageing population, in the community.

Since then, SCCQ has grown to employ over 1700 staff caring for and supporting more than 2000 people across 13 residential aged care homes, 5 retirement villages, 28 social houses, the National Disability and Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and home care services in metropolitan and rural Queensland.
