SCCQ is seeking an engaging Health & Wellness Community Centre Coordinator to provide leadership at our newly established Health & Wellness Community Centre in Chinchilla.
Working in this exciting position of the Health & Wellness Community Centre Coordinator, you will play a vital role in improving health outcomes for individuals and groups by providing oversight of the Centre while building partner pipelines and participation growth for the services across Chinchilla and the wider region. This beautiful purpose-built Health & Wellness Community Centre comprising of doctors' and allied health providers' consulting rooms and offering allied health classes to the regional communities strengthens Southern Cross Cares's vision to grow communities where best lives are lived.

About the roleAs the Health & Wellness Community Centre Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing leadership, ensuring compliance and fostering growth.
Your duties may include but not be limited to:
- Partnering closely with SCC's aged care and home care teams, SQRH and GP services to align calendars, referrals, clinical coverage and community outreach.
- Scheduling and invoicing.
- Driving room-hire occupancy, class participation, membership growth, and private-pay service uptake, development and maintaining referral channels.
- Developing, facilitating and assisting with the running of health promotion, rehabilitation and support programs.
- Oversight of the development of all systems including rosters, quality assurance, WHS compliance, privacy and incident management for the Centre.
- Oversight of assessments and clearance processes for participation in wellness programs, ensuring effective management of workflows and periodic reviews.
- Allied health oversight - scheduling appropriate professionals to oversee group classes.
- Ensuring program integration to actively embed CHSP and Support at Home clients into regular (daily/weekly) centre visits and wellness activities.
What will you bring to the role? - Demonstrated experience in health, fitness or community business development.
- Qualification in an Allied Health (desirable)
- Strong stakeholder management skills with providers, GPs and local networks.
- Confidence with booking/CRM tools and simple budgets.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to build trusting relationships.
- Ability to promote SCCQ to the community.
- Strong time management skills.
