Southern Cross Care (Qld) is seeking an organised, responsive and solution-focused Rostering and Scheduling Officer to join our Home Care team supporting Logan River / Brisbane South.

About the role:
As a Rostering and Scheduling Officer, you will work closely with the Home Care Manager and wider team to create and maintain employee rosters in line with the applicable Enterprise Agreement, while supporting effective scheduling of client services and maximising the efficiency and productivity of Support Workers.
You will help ensure good rostering and scheduling practices that support employee wellbeing and safety, respond to client needs and wishes, and drive operational efficiency across the service. The role also involves supporting new employees with orientation to rosters, timesheets, leave processes and other rostering matters, assisting with staff changes, processing timesheets where required, and helping coordinate training sessions and team meetings.
This is a fast-paced and rewarding role suited to someone who is calm under pressure, highly organised, detail-oriented and able to communicate clearly and professionally with both staff and clients. You will also participate in the out-of-hours on-call roster on a rostered basis.
