About the role

Working as a Data & Integration Analyst, you will be optimising how our systems connect and how data is managed day to day. This role is centred on building reliable integrations, maintaining strong data operations, and ensuring information moves accurately and securely across the organisation.

You will be part of a dedicated team responsible for ensuring our systems connect effectively and that data integrations and operations are managed reliably each day. Together, the team maintains stable data flows, upholds data integrity, and continuously improves how information is exchanged across the organisation.
  
Key accountabilities of the role will have you:

• Working closely with teams across SCCQ to understand system and data needs and translate this into practical solutions.
• Monitoring and supporting day-to-day data operations, ensuring data quality, integrity and consistency across platforms.
• Managing data uploads, transformations and migrations from legacy systems carefully and methodically.
• Designing, building and maintaining reliable data pipelines and system integrations.
• Troubleshooting integration and data issues, tracking defects, and supporting user testings (UAT).
• Maintaining clear, practical documentation to support ongoing system reliability.
• Identifying opportunities to improve process and introducing automations.

What will you bring to the role? 

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or related discipline or an appropriate qualification (desirable)
• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines using tools such as Databricks, Spark (PYSpark/Spark SQL), or Azure Data Factory.
• Experience developing and supporting system integrations, including working with REST APIs (OAuth2, API keys, JSON, pagination, rate limiting)
• Strong understanding of data operations, including data quality, validation, reconciliation and integrity controls.
• Experience working with complex, multi-source data, ideally within a regulated environment (healthcare, aged care, financial services or similar)
• Experience creating dashboards and reports in Power BI.
• A practical, detail-oriented mindset and the ability to work comfortably with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
