SCCQ has an exciting opportunity for an ICT Lead to lead and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the ICT Service Desk across Southern Cross Care Queensland.

About the role
Working within the talented ICT team, you'll be ensuring responsive, customer-focused ICT support, effective incident management, and alignment with SCCQ’s values of care, compassion, and community. you will be contributing to ICT governance, continuous improvement, and organisational digital transformation initiatives.
Key accountabilities will include:
- Service desk leadership and operations
- ICT Infrastructure and Systems Support
- Customer Service and Stakeholder Engagement
- Governance, Risk and Compliance
- Team Development and Capability Building
- Reporting and Continuous Improvement
- ICT Project and Change Support
What will you bring to the role?
- Bachelor of Information Technology or related discipline or experience deemed equivalent
- Demonstrated experience leading an ICT function
- Demonstrated ability to drive, deliver and sustain an improvement plan and improve levels of service provided
- Full software development lifecycle experience, including software design, development, unit testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Highly developed interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written with a range of client groups
- Ability to demonstrate good time management in a high-pressure environment
- Ability to work effectively unsupervised and within a team environment

Southern Cross Care Queensland (SCCQ) is a Catholic not-for-profit organisation established by the Knights of the Southern Cross, more than 40 years ago. They saw a need to provide compassionate care and inclusive service to some of the most vulnerable, the ageing population, in the community.
Since then, SCCQ has grown to employ over 1700 staff caring for and supporting more than 2000 people across 17 residential aged care homes, 8 retirement villages, 28 social houses, the National Disability and Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and home care services in metropolitan and regional Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.
