The Opportunity
We are looking for a motivated Graduate / Cadet Quantity Surveyor to join our established Perth team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the beginning of their Quantity Surveying career who wants to gain practical, hands-on experience while working alongside experienced Quantity Surveyors and cost management professionals.
You will gain exposure to a range of Quantity Surveying activities across the project lifecycle, while being supported to develop your technical skills, industry knowledge and professional capability.
What You'll Be Doing
Working closely with our Quantity Surveying team, you will assist with:
- Measuring quantities and supporting the preparation of preliminary estimates, cost plans and bills of quantities.
- Assisting with contract administration activities, including progress claims, variations and post-contract certificates.
- Supporting project cost analysis, reporting and the development of cost databases.
- Assisting with quality assurance, project documentation, bank reports and tax depreciation schedules.
- Working collaboratively with the team, managing deadlines and continuing to develop your Quantity Surveying knowledge and skills.
About You This role is suited to someone who is motivated to build a career in Quantity Surveying and is keen to learn from experienced industry professionals.
You'll bring:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related discipline, or be currently studying towards one.
- A genuine interest in Quantity Surveying, construction and the built environment.
- Strong attention to detail, organisation and time management skills.
- Good communication skills and a collaborative, team-focused approach.
- A proactive attitude, willingness to learn and commitment to ongoing professional development.
