About the Role:
We're now seeking a motivated Finance Officer to join our team in the Sydney office on a 12 month maternity leave contract.
This role is ideal for someone with at least 2+ years of experience in finance or accounting (perhaps in accounts receivable/payable, billing or finance admin) who is ready to take the next step in their career.
As our Finance Officer, you'll provide critical support to our Finance team, ensuring smooth operations across our national business. You'll enjoy a variety in your day to day tasks, visibility across the business, and the opportunity to work with senior leading professionals whilst growing your knowledge in a consulting environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and issuing client invoices and managing accounts receivable
- Preparing bank files for weekly payments
- Preparing weekly payment listings and cashflow for review by Seniors
- Monitoring the entry of credit card transactions and reconciling statements
- Liaising with project teams to ensure timesheet and billing accuracy
- Providing ad hoc administrative support to the Finance team as required
About You:
To thrive in this role, you’ll be proactive, organised and comfortable working across multiple deadlines.
You’ll have:
- 2+ years of experience in a finance or accounts support role
- Confidence with Excel and familiarity with accounting systems
- A customer-focused mindset and strong attention to detail
- Great communication skills and the ability to work across teams
- Experience in a professional services, construction, or project-based business (preferred but not essential)
- Tertiary qualifications in accounting and finance (preferred but not essential)

- A total salary package of $92,000–$98,000 inclusive of superannuation (commensurate with experience)
