Role Description
We are currently seeking a Planner/ Scheduler for an exciting project with a valued client. This will be a 6-month contract, based in Brisbane.
The key purpose of the Scheduler/ Planner is to participate in and interpret planning work and to develop and maintain complex programs of works.
Some of the key responsibilities include,
- Working collaboratively as part of a team which may include PMO, Project Managers, procurement, and designers in the creation of the project development strategy.
- Liaising with the Project leadership team to assist and support.
- Assist in the integration of individual schedule into a master schedule.
- Develop key relationships to ensure this works efficiently.
- Develop Project schedules and other outputs from concept to detailed using the above principles.
Candidate ProfileTo be successful in this role, you’ll need demonstrate:
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 scheduling.
- Experience on major infrastructure or construction projects, ideally including energy or water projects.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with busy stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and an outcome focused mindset.
- Qualifications in Project Management, Engineering, Architecture, Construction, or related discipline is desirable.
