About the Role
We’re looking for a Design Manager to oversee the design of a major project redevelopment valued at $250M+.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating multiple design consultants, stakeholders and project briefs across building-related projects.
Based at our Brisbane office, you will also:
- Coordinate the project brief, scope of works and technical documentation used to manage the construction process.
- Maintain design records and documentation, ensuring drawings and approvals are coordinated as required.
- Chair design meetings with key stakeholders, providing recommendations and timely technical advice.
About you:To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated experience as a Design Manager, Senior Design Manager, Senior Project Manager or Technical Director within the construction industry.
You will ideally have worked on major projects or developments with significant capital value (hundreds of millions of dollars). This role is particularly suited to someone who has operated in a Design Management capacity in live operational environments, such as Aviation, Commercial or Retail.
You will also bring:
- Experience with automation and conveyor systems (highly regarded).
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and influence across complex project teams.
- High attention to detail and a customer-focused mindset, with the ability to manage risk and stakeholder impacts effectively.
- A collaborative, team-oriented approach, committed to delivering outstanding client outcomes.
- Qualifications in Architecture, Project Management, Engineering, Construction, or a related discipline.
