Role Description
We’re looking for a Project Manager to oversee the delivery of School and Tertiary projects within our Education sector.
These are new build/upgrade projects worth $40m - $50m. These projects are about to transition into the construction phase, so experience with construction and contract administration is highly sought after.
Located in our Sydney office, you’ll be responsible for:
- Closing out any final design requirements.
- Engaging with contractors and consultants.
- Managing the construction/delivery of projects.
- Fostering relationships with key stakeholders.
- Overseeing contract management, variations and claims.
Candidate Profile To be successful in this role, you’ll need demonstrated experience as a Client Side Project Manager, Contract Administrator, Project Engineer, or similar role.
Whilst Education experience is preferred, it’s not essential. State Government experience, contractor or client-side experience will be highly sought after.
You’ll also need:
- Strong communication skills and an ability to build rapport with busy stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and a customer-focused mindset.
- Experience with construction and the delivery phase of projects.
- A willingness to work with team members and deliver outstanding outcomes for clients.
- GC21 contract experience, working with NSW Government contracts is desired (but is not essential).
- Qualifications in Project Management, Engineering, Architecture, Construction, or related discipline.
