Role Description
Due to company growth and a busy pipeline, we’re taking applications for an experienced Assistant Project Manager to assist our Launceston team with the end-to-end delivery of capital/civil projects.
As the APM, you’ll be responsible for:
- Providing regular updates to stakeholders and building relationships with key clients.
- Drafting reports, briefs and other documentation for Senior Project Managers.
- Assisting with scoping of works and tender processes.
- Assisting with consultant engagement and contractor appointment.
- Assisting with contract management and construction.
About you... To be successful, you’ll need demonstrated experience as an Assistant Project Manager within a Consulting environment.
You’ll also need:
- Qualifications in Project Management, Engineering, Construction, or a related discipline.
- Relevant experience in a similar role within a consulting environment.
- Strong communication skills and an ability to build rapport with busy stakeholders.
- An understanding of contracts administration and management.
- High attention to detail and a customer-focused mindset.
- A willingness to work with team members and deliver outstanding outcomes for clients.
- Experience with design and construction phases of projects from the Property & Buildings sector.
