We are a dynamic and forward-thinking city council seeking a skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our team. As the Team Leader of our Civil Infrastructure Projects branch, you will be responsible for managing a team of project delivery professionals to deliver a range of infrastructure projects across our municipality.
About the role:
· You'll lead a team of skilled professionals to design and deliver infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet all legislative, quality and safety standards.
· Liaise with a range of stakeholders, including contractors, community groups, and other departments within the council, to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
· You'll be responsible for managing project budgets and resources.
· Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management and other stakeholders.
Your core talents:
· Bachelor's degree in Project Management or a related field, with extensive experience in managing civil infrastructure projects.
· Proven leadership and management skills.
· Strong project management skills, with experience developing, reviewing and implementing procurement documentation, specifications, project reports as well as contract compliance.
· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
· Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, and experience ensuring compliance with these regulations.
