About the Role As Talent Acquisition Business Partner, you’ll play a key role in building the future workforce of Hume Bank. Reporting to the Head of People and Culture, you’ll deliver end-to-end recruitment, develop proactive sourcing strategies and provide expert advice on workforce planning, talent pipelines and employer branding.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with people, influencing outcomes and delivering results with both speed and precision. You’ll be trusted to own the process from strategy to onboarding, ensuring every new hire enhances capability and culture across the organisation.
In your first months, you will: - Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for a variety of corporate, customer-facing and specialist roles
- Partner with leaders to define workforce needs and design recruitment strategies that attract high-calibre candidates
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical or recurring roles
- Lead employer brand initiatives that showcase Hume Bank as an employer of choice in regional banking
- Analyse recruitment metrics and provide actionable insights to improve efficiency and candidate experience
- Coordinate onboarding, induction and pre-employment compliance processes

Skills We’re Looking For - Demonstrated experience in end-to-end recruitment or talent acquisition, ideally in corporate or financial services
- Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills
- Ability to design and deliver sourcing strategies that balance quality and speed
- Excellent communication, influencing and time-management skills
- Familiarity with ATS platforms and a data-driven approach to reporting and analytics
- Commercial acumen and adaptability in a private-sector environment
- Strong capability, resilience and agility to work autonomously and collaboratively within a small, high-performing team
- Proficiency in Excel and Word due to high reporting requirements
