About the Role As Head of People & Culture, you will be instrumental in driving organisational transformation and embedding a modern, people-first operating model. Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, you’ll provide both strategic and operational leadership in setting work planning direction, shaping culture and ensuring delivery excellence across the P&C remit.
You’ll work closely with the senior leadership team to translate business priorities into workforce strategies that enable growth, strengthen leadership capability and align structure with purpose. You’ll also have the opportunity to reimagine the team’s service delivery model - leading with data, efficiency and partnership.
In your first months, you will:
- Lead the operational rhythm and capability uplift of the People & Culture team
- Partner with senior leaders to embed workforce planning, performance and engagement frameworks
- Drive initiatives that align culture with strategy and reinforce shared accountability
- Oversee organisational design and policy frameworks to support long-term transformation
- Manage industrial relations and ensure compliance with Fair Work legislation
- Drive change management and organisational development initiatives
- Oversee recruitment, performance management and employee engagement across the organisation
- Build trust and visibility across the business through strong communication and delivery
This is a true hybrid role, strategic yet hands-on, ideal for an accomplished HR leader who thrives on shaping, influencing and executing in equal measure.
Skills We’re Looking For - Senior HR professional with proven experience leading transformation or change in a complex organisation
- Strategic thinker who’s also comfortable operating at pace and depth
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to use data to drive decision-making
- Confident communicator who can influence, coach and inspire at all levels
- Demonstrated knowledge of Fair Work legislation, modern awards and industrial relations frameworks
- Proven experience managing recruitment, performance and change processes
- Resilient, adaptable and solutions-oriented - comfortable with ambiguity and multiple competing priorities
- Strong capability, resilience and agility to work autonomously and collaboratively within a small, high-performing team
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint to support analytical reporting and presentations
