About the Role
Our client, a leader in providing pre-construction data services across the Asia Pacific, is seeking two ambitious Business Development Managers to join their high-performing sales team—one at a junior level and one at an intermediate level. These roles offer an exciting opportunity to contribute to market expansion by identifying and converting new business opportunities in the building and construction industry.
 
As a Business Development Manager, you’ll play a vital role in driving growth through prospecting, qualifying leads, delivering tailored proposals, and closing sales. You’ll be backed by a supportive team of Account Managers and Customer Service Managers, enabling you to focus on what you do best—building relationships and winning business.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new business via cold calling, meetings, and industry networking.
• Identify, consult with, and qualify prospects to present tailored solutions and quotations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to maintain strong client relationships post-sale.
• Stay updated on industry trends through training, events, and research.
• Log all interactions and updates accurately in the CRM system.
• Report on sales activity and pipeline during team meetings.
• Uphold health, safety, and company values at all times.

• 1–2 years' experience in a sales, telesales, or B2B client-facing role.
• Eagerness to learn and build a long-term sales career.
• Strong communication skills and a consultative sales approach.
• Comfortable working towards KPIs and revenue goals.
• Experience in the construction industry is highly desired

• 3–5 years’ experience in business development. Experience in the construction industry highly desired.
• Demonstrated success in solution selling and managing the full sales cycle.
• High-level prospecting, negotiation, and objection-handling skills.
• Track record of exceeding targets and maintaining CRM hygiene.

• Resilient, target-driven, and self-motivated.
• Confident communicator with excellent presentation skills.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities.
• Collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Confident and driven - in and out of work
