Primary Objective:

To generate specifications and sales opportunities within construction projects through architects, landscape architects, civil engineers, government authorities and building service engineers such as hydraulic consultants and electrical/mechanical engineers for the Wellington Region.

Even if you have the skills without industry experience, we encourage you to apply! A strong character is just as valuable as sales proficiency. Our client is committed to equipping every skilled salesperson with comprehensive product knowledge to become seasoned within the industry.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Pursue project leads with various specifying clients with the aim of confirming a specification for our client's products on that particular project.
• Create a good working relationship and rapport with specifiers and contractors.
• Fully utilise the support offered by the client's Marketing and Product Management department to assist architects and engineers with properly specifying construction products on projects.
• Weekly Reporting on Customer Contacts and Activities through the Sales Management System.
• Work closely with other staff members in New Zealand.
• Attend Client Group meetings when required.
• Actively participate in company meetings and work to add value to the organisation.
• Obtain a sound working knowledge of all our client's construction products and pass that effectively on to their customers.

• Two presentations per week.
• Qualified Key Leads to NSM, ISR.
• Assist in expanding customer base and sales volume in New Zealand.
