IT Operations Analyst

We’re looking for an adaptable IT professional to join a small, hands-on technology team supporting the systems and processes that keep the business running.

Rather than sitting in a narrow support function, you’ll work across IT operations, user support and production activity, while gaining valuable exposure to cloud infrastructure and cybersecurity. You’ll be trusted to organise incoming work, solve day-to-day issues and help the wider technical team stay focused on larger priorities.

Your day-to-day
No two days will look exactly the same. You could be:

• Resolving technology issues for internal users
• Assessing new requests and deciding what needs attention first
• Coordinating work across the IT Operations and Security team
• Monitoring business-critical production activity
• Running reports and retrieving data from existing systems
• Supporting work involving AWS, firewalls and security vulnerabilities
• Turning common requests into documented, repeatable support processes
• Gradually taking ownership of a wider range of technical responsibilities

About you
You’ve already gained some experience in an IT support, helpdesk or service desk environment and are ready to take the next step.

You’ll likely bring:

• Strong communication and stakeholder service skills
• The ability to stay organised when priorities change
• A practical and patient approach to problem-solving
• Curiosity about cloud technology, infrastructure and security
• The confidence to take ownership while knowing when to escalate
• A collaborative mindset suited to working within a close-knit team

Experience in financial services or fintech would be advantageous, although attitude, reliability and a willingness to learn will be equally important.
