BDR role with a growing ANZ sales team. Great fit for a driven, coachable salesperson wanting strong training and progression.
Business Development Representative
We're working with a well-established business in the HR and SaaS space that is looking to bring on a Business Development Representative to join their growing sales team.
This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants to build a proper career in B2B sales. The role sits at the top of the funnel and will focus on a mix of outbound prospecting, qualifying inbound interest, and booking high-quality meetings for senior sales colleagues. It would suit someone who is commercially minded, confident on the phone, and motivated by progression.
The business sells a solution that combines software with advisory support, giving clients both practical tools and expert guidance. Because of that, this is not a transactional, script-led environment. They are looking for someone who can ask good questions, uncover genuine pain points, and have more considered commercial conversations with prospects.
In the role, you would be responsible for building pipeline across phone, email, and LinkedIn, qualifying opportunities properly, and handing over well-briefed meetings with meaningful context. You would also be expected to keep CRM records up to date, contribute ideas around what is and is not working in outbound activity, and report clearly on pipeline performance, blockers, and conversion.
They are open to candidates with prior BDR, SDR, or broader customer-facing experience, but attitude will matter more than a perfect background. They are looking for someone with strong communication skills, resilience, coachability, good organisation, and a genuine hunger to build a long-term career in sales.
There is a clear progression path attached to the role, with previous hires having moved into closing positions. The team invests in training, coaching, and development, and they want someone who is looking for more than just their next job.
