Senior Project Manager – Infrastructure & Transport
Waikato Region | $140k – $170k + Huge Benefits

We’re working with a well-established project management and advisory consultancy with a strong pipeline of infrastructure and transport projects across the Waikato region.

They’re looking to bring on a Senior Project Manager who can take ownership of projects from early planning stages through to delivery, while building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

This role suits someone coming from either a contractor or consultancy background who enjoys staying close to delivery, while stepping into a more advisory-focused environment.

Based in Hamilton, you’ll be involved in a diverse mix of civil and infrastructure projects while benefiting from the lifestyle the Waikato region offers.
 
What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading the end-to-end delivery of infrastructure and transport projects
• Managing planning, programming, financials, and reporting
• Acting as Engineer’s Representative, ensuring quality, safety, and environmental standards are met
• Undertaking site visits and contractor performance reviews
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Supporting proposals, tenders, and business development
• Mentoring and supporting junior team members

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years’ experience in civil/infrastructure project management
• Experience in Engineer’s Rep and/or Contractor’s Rep roles (MSQA exposure advantageous)
• Proven track record delivering projects on time and within budget
• Background across roading, infrastructure, land development or rail projects
• Relevant tertiary qualification (Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar)
• CPEng (or working towards) is advantageous
• Strong knowledge of NZ contracts (NZS3910)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a team
