We are partnered with a leading project management consultancy in Auckland, who are now looking to hire a Project Manager to assist with the delivery of roading related infrastructure projects across Auckland.
 
We are happy to see applicants from Consultancy, Client Side, or Contractors as long as you have relevant roading infrastructure project experience.

The Role

You’ll take ownership of the planning, design, and delivery of roading related infrastructure projects valued between NZ$5 million and NZ$80 million, including:

• Planning and feasibility studies
• Design coordination (with consultants, engineers, etc.)
• Procurement and contract management / contract administration
• Overseeing construction, upgrades, and remediation works
• Monitoring project budgets, schedules, quality, risk, and safety
• Stakeholder management (incl council, regulatory bodies / iwi, etc.)
• Ensuring compliance with environmental and legislative requirements

What We Are Looking For

• Proven experience in project management of roading infrastructure projects (design, construction, upgrades, and remediations)
• Comfortable across all project phases: planning, design & delivery
• Good financial acumen: managing budgets, cost control, procurement
• Excellent communication, stakeholder, and team-management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects/workstreams concurrently
• Proven experience delivering infrastructure projects across sectors such as transportation, water, utilities, or civic works.
• NZ qualification in engineering, project management, or equivalent is desirable

• Salary range NZ$120,000 to $145,000 per year
