Fantastic opportunity for an Intermediate Project Manager based in Auckland to lead & deliver water infrastructure projects from planning through design, construction, remediation, and upgrades. If you have solid experience managing medium-to-large scale water work and want a challenging role with real impact, this could be the one.

The Role

You’ll take ownership of the planning, design and delivery of water-related projects valued between NZ$2 million and NZ$40 million, including:

• Planning and feasibility studies
• Design coordination (with consultants, engineers etc.)
• Procurement and contract management
• Overseeing construction, upgrades, and remediation works
• Monitoring project budgets, schedules, quality, risk, and safety
• Stakeholder management (including council / regulatory bodies / iwi etc.)
• Ensuring compliance with environmental and legislative requirements

What We Are Looking For

• Proven experience in project management of water infrastructure projects (design, construction, upgrades and remediations)
• Comfortable operating across all project phases: planning, design, delivery
• Strong technical understanding of water systems, standards and practices
• Good financial acumen: managing budgets, cost control, procurement
• Excellent communication, stakeholder and team-management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects/workstreams concurrently
• NZ qualification in engineering, project management, or equivalent is desirable
