We’re looking for a proactive and organised Training Coordinator & Human Resources Administrator to join Superior Wood, supporting our Imbil and Melawondi sites.
About the role
This varied role combines training coordination with hands-on HR administration. You’ll play an important part in ensuring our people have the training, competencies and support they need to work safely and effectively, while helping deliver seamless people processes across the employee lifecycle.
- · Coordinate training, inductions, refresher programs and competency assessments across both sites
- · Maintain training matrices, competency records, licences and compliance requirements
- · Develop and improve practical training materials, work instructions and competency checklists
- · Work closely with operational leaders to identify training needs and competency gaps
- · Coordinate external training providers, courses and assessments
- · Support employee onboarding and maintain accurate employment records
- · Assist with recruitment administration, interview coordination and pre-employment checks
- · Provide day-to-day HR administrative support to employees, leaders and the broader HR team
- · Support performance and disciplinary processes through meeting coordination, documentation and recordkeeping
- · Contribute to continuous improvement across training, HR, safety and compliance processes
About you
You’re someone who loves keeping things organised while helping others build their skills and capability. You communicate confidently, connect easily with people at all levels and know how to make training practical and engaging.
Naturally detail-focused, you’ll keep training, competency and employee information accurate, identify gaps and make sure actions don’t fall through the cracks. You’re collaborative, approachable and comfortable using your judgement to manage routine matters while recognising when something needs further guidance.
Ideally you will have a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
