About the Position

We are seeking candidates with a can-do attitude and strong work ethic to join our Mary Valley timber manufacturing operations.  You will operate mobile plant to assist in our production processes of high-quality timber products.
 
We are looking for candidates interested in the below positions covering Monday to Thursday afternoons, from 3pm.

• Forklift Operator based at Melawondi & Imbil.
• Front End Loader Operator (Log Grab) Based at Imbil.

  
  
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

• The use of a forklift (LF License Required) or Front-end loader (includes log grab) to move, load and unload product
• Daily machinery and equipment pre-start inspections.
• Sorting and strapping loads
• General labouring duties including ensuring the work area is clean and free of debris on an ongoing basis.
• Inventory management and database entry
• Having a constant focus on health & safety across all areas of our site.
  
  
  

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Previous experience in operating a Forklift or Front-End loader is essential.
• A high-risk forklift licence is essential for the Forklift Operator Position
• Experience using a log grab is advantageous for the Loader Operator Position.
• A positive attitude at work, whilst being reliable and punctual.
• A strong commitment to safety is essential.
• Knowledge of the timber industry is favourable.
• The ability to work effectively within a team environment and produce work to a high standard.
