About the Position

Narrogin Hay Pty Ltd, part of the Pentarch Group, is seeking a Testing/Quality & Administration Assistant to join our Narrogin site on a permanent, full-time basis. This is a hands-on and varied role that plays a vital part in maintaining product quality, data integrity and smooth day-to-day site operations in a busy agricultural environment.

Reporting to the Hay Intake Coordinator, this role provides testing, quality assurance, product processing and administrative support to the Narrogin Hay site. You’ll be involved in receivals, sample and feed testing, quality processes, data entry and general administration, helping ensure our operations remain safe, efficient and compliant.
  

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Assist with weighbridge receivals, testing, inspections, documentation and tag generation.
• Support safe receivals and ensure compliance with site safety and induction requirements.
• Coordinate sample collection, preparation, dispatch, photography and traceability.
• Operate and maintain testing equipment, performing routine quality checks and recording results.
• Accurately enter, reconcile and report testing and receivals data, investigating anomalies where required.
• Provide general administration support including phones, filing, office upkeep and consumables.
• Maintain systems, documents and records.
• Assist with audits, corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.

  

To be successful in this role you will have:

• A proven track record of success in a quality, testing or operational support role within a manufacturing, agricultural or similar setting is advantageous.
• Strong organisational skills and a high attention to detail, with problem-solving ability.
• Competency using Microsoft Office and the ability to learn site systems.
• Good time management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A commitment to safety and quality in everything you do.
• Certificate III in Business Administration (or similar) is desirable.
