We are seeking an experienced Manager to provide end‑to‑end leadership of operations at our Narrogin hay processing site in Western Australia. This is a pivotal senior role with full accountability for safety, production, people, assets and cost performance in a high‑output, operationally complex environment.
Reporting to the General Manager – Operations, you will lead all aspects of site performance from intake, production planning and maintenance through to logistics and dispatch, with WHS and environmental leadership at the core of everything you do.
What you will be responsible for:
- Leading end‑to‑end site operations to delivery safe, compliant, high quality, efficient production outcomes;
- Driving a strong, visible safety culture and ensuring WHSE standards, systems and training are embedded;
- Optimising production performance through effective planning, maintenance and continuous improvement;
- Managing site budgets, costs, reporting and CAPEX in line with business requirements;
- Leading, coaching and developing teams to build capability, accountability and engagement; and,
- Building strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers and contractors.
About You You are a hands-on operational leader who thrives in regional or industrial environments and is comfortable balancing safety, people, production and commercial priorities. You bring:
- Minimum 5 years’ senior operational leadership experience, preferably within agribusiness, natural resources, manufacturing or similar industrial environments;
- Experience leading a regional site with a strong understanding of seasonality, logistics and workforce planning/coordination and supply chain dependencies;
- Demonstrated WHS leadership, including safe systems of work, risk management and incident response;
- Practical experience in production planning, scheduling and operational control;
- A proven track record of driving continuous improvement across safety, quality, productivity and cost;
- Experience managing a regional site, including workforce coordination and resource optimisation.
Qualifications & licences (preferred) - Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Operations Management or Manufacturing or Production Management (or equivalent experience)
- Chain of Responsibility (CoR) Training
- High Risk Work Licences (e.g. Forklift)
