About the Position
We are seeking to appoint a Supervisor for our Dry Mill operations at Narooma Timber Mill.  We aren’t expecting you to have prior experience in a Timber Mill (if you do, then great) but we are willing to train.

To be successful in this role, you need to have some experience with MS EXCEL, as part of your responsibilities include Stocktake (which utilises EXCEL).  If you have been in a supervisory position within a manufacturing environment previously, then this role could be for you.

This is a Permanent Full-Time position which will be contribute to the performance across the site to enable the meeting of targets in terms of production, efficiency, and quality in a safe and environmentally sound manner.
 
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Ensuring production standards meet internal and external requirements.
• Supervising a small team of Timber Mill Operators
• Participate in toolbox meetings and conduct safety conversations about HSE performance.
• Performing Stocktakes as required

• Previous experience in a supervisory position within a manufacturing environment (ideal).
• Ability to work independently and solve problems.
• The ability to build strong working relationships and promote effective communication within a team.
• Computer literate (particularly with EXCEL (beginner level)
