Business Analyst Contract Opportunity in Plano, TX
Our client in Plano, TX is looking for a Business Analyst to join their team!
This is a hybrid/full-time/6-month contract position
Hourly based on experience: $55/hr
Job Summary
We are seeking an assertive, delivery-focused Business Analyst to support a Project Manager on network automation and analytics initiatives. This individual will drive follow-ups, coordinate cross-functional teams, manage Agile documentation, and ensure tasks and deliverables stay on track. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who takes ownership, holds stakeholders accountable, and operates independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily follow-ups with engineering, operations, and vendor teams to keep projects moving forward.
- Represent the Project Manager in status meetings and working sessions as needed.
- Create and maintain user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria in Jira.
- Manage backlog updates, track action items, and follow up with task owners to ensure timely completion.
- Prepare concise project updates for leadership and proactively identify risks and blockers.
- Support vendor spend tracking, budget forecasting, and invoice management as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Assertive, proactive, and results-oriented approach to driving deliverables.
- Experience with Jira, Agile documentation, and backlog management.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to work onsite in Plano, TX, three days per week.
