Our client in New York State is seeking an experienced Employment & Labor Associate to join its growing Employment and Labor practice!
This is a remote/full-time/permanent position
Salary based on experience: $100K-$165K
The Opportunity
The team works collaboratively to proactively counsel employers, navigate compliance matters, and defend clients in employment-related litigation.

- Work collaboratively with attorneys advising employers on compliance and employment matters
- Represent employers in employment-related litigation
- Work within a nationally recognized Am Law 200 and Chambers-ranked firm
- Collaborative, close-knit team environment
Qualifications - Licensed to practice law in New York
- 3+ years of employment and labor law experience
- Experience practicing before administrative agencies, including:
- New York State Division of Human Rights
- Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC)
- National Labor Relations Board (NLRB)
- Public Employment Relations Board (PERB)
- Experience practicing in New York State and Federal Court
- Experience handling a range of employment litigation, including:
- Employment discrimination
- Wage and hour matters
- Restrictive covenants in employment agreements
- Strong legal writing and strategic thinking skills
