Our client in Western NY is looking for a Human Resources Business Partner to join their team!
This is an on-site/full-time/direct-hire position
Salary based on experience: $75K
Position Summary
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) provides comprehensive HR support to the site and partners closely with leadership and employees to foster a positive, compliant, and productive work environment. This role serves as a trusted resource on employee relations, performance management, recruitment, onboarding, compliance, training, and other HR matters. The HRBP works closely with site leadership to support workforce needs, ensure consistent application of company policies and practices, promote regulatory compliance, and enhance the overall employee experience.
Essential Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary HR resource for employees and managers, guiding HR policies, procedures, workplace matters, and employee concerns.
- Partner with site leadership and managers to address employee needs, workforce priorities, staffing, performance, and organizational matters.
- Manage employee relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, coaching, corrective action, and separation processes.
- Advise managers on employee concerns, performance issues, documentation, and the consistent application of HR practices.
- Conduct exit interviews and identify trends, concerns, and opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain accurate and confidential HR, employee relations, and performance documentation.
- Monitor the performance management process and support managers with performance expectations, feedback, documentation, and corrective action.
- Partner with hiring managers and the Recruitment Coordinator throughout the recruitment and selection process and provide HR guidance on hiring and staffing needs.
- Create, review, and maintain job descriptions and partner with managers on changes to roles, responsibilities, and organizational needs.
- Coordinate and monitor new hire onboarding and orientation, including required paperwork, benefits information, training, and follow-up.
- Maintain required compliance postings and records.
- Support new hire and annual training, ensuring completion and follow-up.
- Support the implementation and consistent application of HR policies, procedures, and compliance initiatives.
- Administer the H-2A program, including inbound and outbound travel, housing inspections, required documentation, and coordination with internal and external resources.
- Provide bilingual English/Spanish HR support, including translation and interpretation of HR policies, procedures, benefits, training, and workplace expectations.
- Promote clear, effective communication and a positive employee experience across a diverse workforce.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency required.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a site-based or operational environment.
- Experience in employee relations, performance management, recruitment, onboarding, and HR compliance.
- Experience supporting a bilingual workforce preferred.
- Working knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive employee matters.
- Ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.

The work environment is primarily a farm setting with associated noise levels. The employee may frequently be exposed to dust, dirt, odors, and wet conditions associated with farming.
