Our client, a well-established manufacturer serving highly regulated industries, is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to join their growing team!
This is a remote/full-time/direct-hire position
Salary based on experience: Up to $120K base/$200K total comp
Our client is a respected U.S. manufacturer of high-performance pressure and temperature sensing solutions serving some of the world's most demanding industries, including aerospace, defense, energy, industrial automation, semiconductor, and test & measurement.
As the company continues to expand its national sales organization, they are seeking an experienced Western Regional Sales Manager to develop new business, strengthen existing customer relationships, and drive revenue growth throughout the Western United States. The role supports an engineering-driven sales approach focused on solving complex customer challenges with highly customized sensing solutions.
This is an excellent opportunity for a consultative technical sales professional who enjoys managing a large territory, building strategic partnerships, and working closely with engineering teams to deliver innovative products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to grow revenue across the Western U.S.
- Manage and expand relationships with OEMs, distributors, system integrators, and key industrial accounts.
- Identify new business opportunities within aerospace, defense, energy, manufacturing, semiconductor, medical, and other industrial markets.
- Conduct customer visits, product demonstrations, technical presentations, and application reviews.
- Partner with engineering and operations teams to develop customized solutions that meet customer requirements.
- Manage sales opportunities from prospecting through quotation, negotiation, and closing.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, forecasts, and customer activity using CRM software.
- Represent the company at industry trade shows, conferences, and customer events.
- Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and emerging technologies to identify growth opportunities.
- Travel extensively throughout the assigned territory to support customers and develop new business.
Required Skills - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field preferred.
- 5+ years of successful outside sales experience within industrial, manufacturing, instrumentation, automation, sensors, controls, or engineered products.
- Demonstrated success managing a multi-state sales territory and consistently achieving revenue goals.
- Experience selling technical or engineered solutions into OEMs or industrial manufacturing customers.
- Strong consultative selling, relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to understand technical applications and communicate effectively with engineers and decision-makers.
- Experience working with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office.
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and comfortable working independently from a home office.
Preferred Industry Experience: Candidates with experience selling any of the following will be highly regarded:
- Pressure, temperature, force, or motion sensors
- Instrumentation and controls
- Industrial automation
- Test and measurement equipment
- Aerospace or defense components
- Process control equipment
- Industrial electronics
- Engineered OEM solutions
