We are seeking a Supply Chain Planning Analyst for our partner in Franklin, TN. This contract opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience in supply chain planning who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
This is a contract position with the potential for assignment extension or future permanent opportunities based on business needs and individual performance.
As a Supply Chain Planning Analyst, you will play a vital role in executing day-to-day planning activities, including running planning cycles, monitoring planning exceptions, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date inventory data. You will collaborate closely with Supply Planners, Demand Planners, and Logistics teams to support efficient supply chain operations and ensure planning objectives are met.

- Pay: Up to $24/hr
- Onsite M-F
Responsibilities Your primary focus will be DRP and Inventory Analysis, with flexibility to support other planning functions as team needs shift.
Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) - Run daily and weekly DRP cycles to ensure the right inventory is in the right place across our distribution network
- Monitor stock positions and replenishment signals; escalate exceptions and supply risks to senior planners
- Work with Supply Planning to align replenishment plans with production and deployment schedules
- Maintain and update distribution parameters (lead times, safety stock levels, min/max quantities)
- Identify and flag potential out-of-stock or overstock risks across the network
Inventory Analysis - Track and report inventory positions vs. targets across finished goods and raw/pack materials
- Support period-end inventory reporting for leadership and S&OP reviews
- Identify inventory risks tied to innovation, renovation, or shelf-life constraints and help build mitigation plans
- Assist in Donate & Destroy (D&D) risk monitoring and proactive action tracking
- Pull and interpret data from planning systems (SAP, OMP, or similar) to surface insights
General / Flexible Support - Provide ad hoc analytical support to Demand and Supply Planning teams during leave coverage periods
- Participate in daily and weekly planning routines and team stand-ups
- Document process steps to support seamless handbacks to returning team members
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in supply chain planning, logistics, or operations — DRP or inventory planning experience strongly preferred
- SAP experience required; experience with advanced planning systems a strong plus — OMP preferred, Kinaxis, o9 Solutions, or Blue Yonder also welcomed
- Strong Excel skills; able to work with large data sets and build simple tracking tools
- Detail-oriented with solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to ramp up quickly with minimal hand-holding in a fast-moving environment
- Experience in CPG, food & beverage, or pet care manufacturing preferred
- Familiarity with S&OP or IBP processes preferred
- Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools preferred
- APICS CPIM or CSCP certification (in progress or completed) preferred
