Our client, a full-service Civil Engineering and Site Development consulting firm in Tysons, VA, is seeking a Design Engineer to join their growing team!
We are seeking a
Design Engineer who is driven and looking for technical growth and advancement in a dynamic workplace. The successful candidate will work on various projects and will be part of a multi-disciplined design team that includes civil engineers, planners, landscape architects, and CADD designers, all under the supervision of an experienced professional engineer.
The successful candidate will work closely with a project engineer, assisting/mentoring you in the performance of tasks associated with the preparation of various engineering plan submissions, such as roadway design, erosion control, and stormwater management design, site grading and layout design, storm drainage, water & sewer design, as well as site planning. Individual tasks might include preparation of a drainage area map, channel or pipe flow computations, runoff computations, storm computation routing, vertical curve design, sight distance analysis, earthwork analysis, or cost estimating.

Minimum Qualifications - BSCE or MSCE degree
- EIT Certificate is a plus
- Working knowledge of Civil 3D
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MS Office Suite (MS Project, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook)
