Our client in Western New York is seeking a 1st shift Machinist to join their growing team! Our partner is a top manufacturer of laser cutting machinery. 

This is an on-site/full-time/direct-hire position with great benefits! 
Salary based on experience: Up to $28/HR
 
Position Summary: 
The self-motivated candidate performs machine work on CNC Milling, Lathes, Drilling, and Boring Machines. Must be able to set the machine up and run proficiently upon completing training. Be able to edit new and existing programs as needed and actively contribute to quality initiatives to increase productivity and gain efficiencies. Candidate must be able to read blueprints, micrometers, calipers, and other standard measuring equipment. Some experience or formal metalworking is helpful. Must be physically capable of occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds. When called upon to do so, the incumbent utilizes acquired cross-functional training skills to assist and reduce the workload demands of other critical departments.
 
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of two years of related trade school training or equivalent job-related experience.
