Our client in Western New York is actively seeking a skilled 2nd Shift Warehouse/Kitting Associate to join their team! 
 
This is an on-site/ full-time/contract position
Hourly based on experience: Up to $18/hr
Shift Schedule: 10:30AM-7PM
 
Purpose of the job: To ensure materials are handled both physically and in accordance with company business
standards. Work under supervision and according to instructions from the team leads to meet daily warehouse/manufacturing requirements. This position requires someone detail-oriented and can pick and pack with accuracy.
 
Key duties:

• Picking orders for inter-company and third-party customers
• Picking manufacturing orders and staging them at stations
• Receiving freight from inter-company and third-party suppliers
• Put away and handling of received material
• Packaging of parts for kitting cell building stock or third-party kits
• Following all safety requirements from the company report any safety concerns.
• Following applicable internal procedures and work instructions
• Other duties as requested

 
Skills:

• Good communication skills with co-workers
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Manual handling, lifting, and handling of materials/products both manually and using material handling equipment
• Ability to operate material handling equipment wave, pallet jack, etc
• Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP/Mapics)

 
Experience Required:

• Previous Warehouse experience
• Basic Computer Skills
• High School Diploma/Equivalency
