We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer for a long-term remote contract opportunity. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in modern data engineering, with a strong understanding of cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or similar) and some familiarity with Agentforce (Salesforce-based insurance platform). You’ll be working on data transformation, integration, and pipeline optimization for large-scale enterprise data systems.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines in cloud environments
• Integrate and transform data from Agentforce and other enterprise systems
• Develop data models, APIs, and interfaces for analytics and business intelligence
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to support data access and governance
• Optimize data flow, query performance, and storage within a modern data stack
• Implement data quality, monitoring, and validation frameworks

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data pipeline orchestration tools (Airflow, dbt, etc.)
• Experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or similar)
• Working knowledge of Agentforce or related Salesforce insurance data structures
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, data lakes, and data modeling
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code concepts
