Our client in Buffalo, NY is looking for a talented Operational Data Analyst to join their team!
This is an on-site/full-time/direct-hire position
Salary based on experience: Up to $90k
As the Operational Data Analyst, you will be responsible for generating detailed reports to support various operational areas. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, proficient in Microsoft Excel, and experienced working with large datasets. Capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, professional environment. Being proactive and consistently leading projects that improve operational efficiency and capability.
Responsibilities:
- Analyzing large datasets to compile metrics and data into actionable reporting.
- Ensure data accuracy by identifying and correcting or removing any inaccurate or incomplete data from datasets.
- Analyze data to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that support data-driven business decisions, applying statistical techniques to generate actionable insights.
- Design and develop data visualizations, including charts, graphs, and dashboards, using tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Create automated reporting solutions to streamline recurring analyses, improving efficiency and reducing manual effort.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3+ years of proven experience in a similar role.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience in Cloud Suite Industrial 10 (Infor Syteline) or other ERP software is a plus
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve data inconsistencies or inaccuracies.
- Capability to collaborate with other departments to resolve data-related issues and inconsistencies.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks proactively.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the capacity to stay organized while delivering results with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Consistently exhibit a professional and positive attitude, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to provide support beyond regular working hours when necessary.
- Demonstrate company core values through behavior that aligns with each guiding principle.
