Our retail client Buffalo, NY is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their team!
This is an onsite/full-time/direct-hire position
Hourly range based on experience: $18-$21/HR
Primary Responsibilities As an
Administrative Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our accounting, credit, HR, and customer service teams. Your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting visitors and assisting with the sign-in process.
- Process accounts payable and receivable (AP/AR), posting to appropriate general ledger (GL) accounts.
- Apply customer payments based on submitted remittances.
- Prepare and process payroll accurately and on time.
- Prepare monthly customer invoices and statements.
- Process checks received, prepare bank deposits and confirm receipt of funds.
- Update and maintain accurate customer information in our system.
Team Support: - Assist in other areas of the organization as needed.
- Flexibility to work extended hours during peak season (December).
Qualifications - Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer service experience is an asset.
- Prior administration is preferred.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in problem-solving and conflict resolution.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Backgrounds and/or interests in these areas would be good to know, but not required:
- Administrative role

- HR
