Our client is looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented individual to join our team in a unique hybrid role that combines responsibilities across electroplating lab work, jewelry polishing, and customer service. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, is comfortable in a production environment, and has strong interpersonal skills. This full-time position offers long-term growth potential and exposure to multiple areas of the jewelry manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:  
Electroplating Lab Technician (Training Provided):

• Assist in the electroplating process for jewelry production
• Safely handle, label, and store chemicals according to OSHA standards
• Learn and apply knowledge from Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for all chemicals used on-site
• Maintain logs and labeling systems for all chemical usage and storage
• Support general lab upkeep and process monitoring

Customer Service:

• Respond to incoming phone and email inquiries from retail customers
• Process and track orders accurately and efficiently
• Provide knowledgeable support on products and services
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth customer experience
• Assist with general office duties as needed

Jewelry Polishing & Bench Work:

• Polish jewelry items using hand tools and polishing wheels to meet high-quality standards
• Perform cutting, filing, and soldering on gold and silver items as needed
• Handle all assigned jewelry inventory with care and attention to detail
• Ensure timely and accurate finishing of products in line with production demands
• Maintain and care for company-provided tools and workstations

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience in customer service or call center roles
• 2–3 years of jewelry polishing or bench jeweler experience strongly preferred
• Ability to solder and work with precious metals (gold and silver)
• Strong attention to detail and high-quality standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and standard computer systems
• High School diploma or equivalent required (STEM education a plus)

Physical & Scheduling Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours/day
• Comfortable with manual, hands-on work
• Willingness to work extra hours during peak seasons (nights/weekends if needed)
• In-person, Monday to Friday schedule
