Salesforce Revenue Cloud/CPQ Consultant
We are looking for a Revenue Cloud Consultant to help us support our continued growth. The Revenue Consultant will be crucial in mapping out the Quote to Cash process (QTC) with clients and ensuring implementation Salesforce best practices are followed.
You are responsible for identifying business requirements, requirements management, user story development, prototyping, process design, testing, training, and supporting implementations. You can articulate best practices for configuring out-of-the-box functionality and write requirements for a custom approach, focused on helping drive the CPQ solution design for our clients while building strong client relationships.
This is a fully remote, contract position with a pay range up to $70/hr.
Role Responsibilities:
● Able to outline and understand our clients’ business process requirements for lead to
cash; demonstrated success in capturing and reviewing current state business processes
and developing future state processes.
● Responsible for leading some discovery and requirements sessions with Clients and
other consultants.
● Ability to follow design and architecture direction and implement it into multiple clouds -
primarily Revenue Cloud.
● Configure Salesforce CPQ to deliver value, solve process inefficiencies, and to create
all-around fantastic solutions.
● Act as a brand steward that embodies the values of Coastal and demonstrates our
collective commitment to Client success.
● Manage requirements from multiple stakeholders and ensure business requirements are
met.
● Work on new CPQ implementations as well as improving existing CPQ client
deployments.
● Ability to deliver assigned tasks against a schedule and plan
● Proven attention to detail and quality, knowing that this aspect of the Salesforce platform
has direct implications on revenue for our Clients.
Experience/Skills Required:
● Minimum of 1 Salesforce Consultant-level Certification is required, strong preference for
CPQ Certified Specialist, Billing Specialist (Billing Superbadge and Advanced Billing
Superbadge) or Revenue Cloud Certified
● Minimum of 4+ years of Salesforce user or administrator experience is required.
● Minimum of 2+ years of Salesforce CPQ implementation & client-facing consulting
experience is preferred.
● Deep Understanding of the Lead-To-Cash business process and supporting technologies
● Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to
communicate to different audiences
● Demonstrates intellectual curiosity
● Demonstrated experience using flow process software including Lucid Chart, Visio or
other tools
● Experience successfully working on engagements utilizing Agile or Iterative project
methodologies
● Experience and comfort operating in both team-oriented and individual contributor
settings
● Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature
judgment
● Experience in onsite functional or technical roles on at least four full-lifecycle Revenue projects, with strong implementation expertise in at least two of the following technologies: Conga CPQ and CLM, Salesforce Revenue Cloud (RCA), CPQ & Billing, Vlocity CPQ
● Experience defining systems strategy, road-map, developing process flow diagrams, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions.
● Proficient in all phases of the Application Development Lifecycle
● Strong technical project management and/or leadership skills
● Experience with relevant AppExchange templating & eSignature tools such as Conga, Docusign, and Adobe Sign
● Must have full-time permanent US work authorization
● Note – Determination of Senior will be based upon the candidates previous relevant experience and depth of skills, and will be determined through our skills interview process.
Additional Preferred Experience/Skills:
● Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent experience
● Operational experience in channel sales, field sales, inside sales, sales operations,
marketing operations, digital marketing, customer service, customer support, field
service, or account management
● Finance or accounting experience is a plus.
● Experience creating Salesforce technical requirements specifications for custom
development is a plus
