Responsibilities:
Working under the leadership of our senior engineers, The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for assistance in all
phases of HVAC engineering design and construction administration services including:
• Drafting of HVAC systems using AutoCAD and REVIT.
• Production of construction documents including plans, details, specifications, and equipment schedules.
• HVAC load calculations and building performance analysis.
• Research and application of Codes and standards.
• Selection of HVAC equipment and design of complete HVAC systems.
• Coordination with other engineering disciplines and architectural trades.
• Participation in design discussions and meetings.
• Documentation and analysis of existing building systems.
• Review of contractor RFI’s, equipment submittals and on-site construction inspection visits.
Ideal Candidate:
• A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant HVAC design experience in commercial, educational, healthcare,
housing, and municipal projects is preferred.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit and Microsoft Office Suite.
• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering is preferred. EIT and LEED accreditation is a plus.
• Strong work ethic and desire to work in a collaborative team environment with willingness to assist senior
staff.
