Pre Construction Administrator

JOB OVERVIEW
 
A vital part of the Preconstruction team contributing to the effective running of the department, positive customer experience and overall business success. If you've got experience in technical administration, coordinating, or quoting within a lighting or construction background, this is your chance to join a growing company where your attention to detail will truly makes a difference.
 
What You'll Be Doing

• Managing the quoting process from start to finish.
• Work closely with the sales and design teams to filter enquiries and clarify specification
• Review all technical documentation to ensure our proposal complies
• Taking product info from the design team and loading it on to quotes
• Carrying out drawing take-offs and loading the information on to quotes
• Supporting with preconstruction and administrative tasks.
• Support clients on incoming enquiries, follow up on quotes and make sure every client interaction runs smoothly.

Requirements

• Prior experience in estimation, project administration, project coordination or related administrative role preferable in the lighting or construction industry.
• Proven background in creating and managing technical or commercial quotes.
• Computer literate with MS Office, Excel and CRM systems.
• Experience liaising with supply chains / suppliers.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent written and verbal skills to liaise with internal teams and external clients confidently.
• Abe to handle multiple quotes at once, prioritising effectively to meet deadlines.
• Excellent organisational skills and a methodical approach to work.
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently.
• Effective communicator and a supportive team player.

Location/Hours

• Standard hours are 7.30 to 16.30 but can be discussed and agreed
• Based full time at head office in Hoddesdon
