We are seeking an experienced Employment Lawyer to join a respected and growing specialist litigation practice as Special Counsel in Sydney CBD.
You will bring extensive experience advising employers and senior stakeholders, a commercially minded approach to complex workplace issues, and a proven ability to develop strong client relationships while contributing to the ongoing success of the practice.
Duties will include:
Managing sophisticated employment and workplace matters across a broad range of industries
Providing strategic advice to businesses, executives and senior decision-makers on employment-related issues
Conducting significant litigation matters, including appearances in courts, tribunals, mediations and other dispute resolution processes
Advising on executive exits, workplace disputes, discrimination matters and other sensitive employment issues
Assisting clients with restraint of trade matters, confidentiality obligations and post-employment disputes
Leading workplace investigations and delivering practical, commercially focused outcomes
Supporting the development of junior lawyers within a collaborative team environment
Contributing to business development initiatives and the continued expansion of the employment practice
